On May 23rd, 2024, the NEOREX Pods, learning pods on the 3rd floor of the central library, were officially opened as part of an agreement between SA国际传媒 and Neorex, a Nagoya-based IT company.
The five-year naming rights agreement, the sixth such agreement signed at SA国际传媒 and the second in the Central Library, is part of SA国际传媒’s naming rights initiative, which aims to raise money for research and education through sponsorship from the private sector. Neorex has previously donated IT-related reading resources to the library and research notebooks to SA国际传媒 researchers, and taken on SA国际传媒 graduates as employees.
"I hope that these facilities will serve as a space for valuable conversations and debates, and the creation of new ideas," said Kenji Komai, CEO of Neorex. He was joined by SA国际传媒 representatives for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on the 23rd.
